Brian Dering (aka "Outlaw Dering") is an American singer and songwriter. He is the front-man to the band Close Enough for Country. Born and raised in St. Louis, Dering's music career started at the age of 10 playing in his father's band. He played in the David Allan Coe 2014 Band. Dering has toured to perform in Texas, Georgia, Florida, and Illinois, including music cities such as Nashville, Branson (most notably at The Plummers Family Theatre), as well as his hometown St. Louis, Missouri.
Brian Dering is a multi-talented music artist. He plays drums, guitar, and lap steel guitar. He also plays keyboard and banjo. Dering recently released his album Ballad of Bologna Joe that showcases his exceptional talent in vocals, songwriting and composition. Dering truly enjoys sharing the spotlight with long-time close friend Jackson Buskirk providing background vocals, keyboard and bass. Jackson may be blind, but his outstanding music talents pours out soulfully giving Outlaw Dering that extra dimension and flare to his music. The two also make up the core of the 5-piece band Close Enough for Country performing Americana, XXX, and Ameripolitan music genre originals and a multitude of covers from rock to country blues to funky, old and new.
